This allows a metal strip to be passed through the compound die. This may be a cost-effective option for manufacturing runs with medium- to high-volume operations.

The speed of the compound die-stamping process is a significant aspect; however, the speed of the process is also determined by the size of the component. It takes a longer amount of time for large components to leave the die, whereas tiny components leave more quickly. There are several ways compound die stamping is advantageous to manufacturers.
